Art

This is a personal favorite from my recent works: "Melancholia".

My art spans from digital to fine arts. I have moved into the Boston area, but I have not fully set up my art desk or supplies. In addition, my computer is still elsewhere until I obtain a proper desk. Both of those elements rule out my most successful and rewarding forms of creativity.

Things will work out, though.

I am beginning to network with other artists in the Boston area. I am excited at the prospect of bringing my art to the public eye. I do have a personal attachment to every piece of fine art I create, so I am not sure how I will feel about giving or selling my paintings. Each one is unique. No two are the same.

My digital art is very different, however. Each piece is unique, but preserved in the sense it can be reproduced via print without compromising the originality of the piece. I sincerely hope no one will skim or steal my work. I hope watermarks on the digital representations will be enough. I must understand that some forms of inspiration are the highest form of flattery, but I am very protective, and prone to adverse reaction if my works are duplicated by someone else whom I have not given permission to.

But I must take the risk. I know it will make me happy. I want others to be inspired and see and even have something that they deem beautiful, interesting, etc.
