Cloud Atlas

Last night I saw "Cloud Atlas". I found it to be a very complex and interesting movie. The Wachowski clan certainly outdid themselves with this one. It presents the idea that everyone and everything is interconnected on a visceral level, throughout time and space.

One of my favorite things about it (other than the main concept of interconnectivity) were the accents used by the main characters. The accents/different dialects of the English language really bring forth the impression that the main characters, though English-speaking, are hundreds if not thousands of years apart. How the languages have evolved over time.

    For me my favorite segment and came out the strongest was the far future one....i don;t know why maybe seeing ultra sleek technology blending in well with the natural Hawaiian landscape. Plus both Halle Berry and Tom Hanks were incredible in all the roles they played in, it just climaxes with the final segment.
