An introduction to my cat

My cat, reclining in splendor :P She is my best friend. Oftentimes we talk without talking.

Her name is Kirara, although I always call her "Sneaky" these days, and I have begun to wonder which name she better identifies with.

Back when I was a teenager, one of my favorite Animes was called "Inu Yasha". In it was a giant cat by the name of Kirara. So when my father gave me a little feral kitty as a gift, and I saw the orange marking over her eye - similar to Kirara's - her name became, of course, Kirara.

The orange has faded a little over the years, but she is still a queen, and her iridescent green eyes remain the same. The only thing I can compare them to is a semiprecious stone called labradorite:
